Director and researcher of the Research Center for Food and Drug Industry Development and Regulation, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. He has long studied the development of food, drug, cosmetics and other industries (enterprises) and government regulation. In his research, he emphasized "professional, objective, rational and pragmatic" and "research should serve to solve practical problems". As an evaluation expert of the National Natural Science Foundation of China project "Food Safety Strategy Research", he has been hired as an expert consultant by many government departments and institutions.
